make people feel loved today

Jesus, Us and Others

I just got my favorite Starbucks drink, a Nitro Cold Brew with vanilla sweet cream. The ladies were great as they gave me an extra drink for getting my order wrong initially.

Their act was just a simple act of kindness through their customer service. This blessed me and even though this act is small on the world’s stage, it made me feel good and noticed.

It’s amazing how small acts of kindness make a BIG difference in people’s lives. For a moment or a day, they feel loved and cared for and maybe get a break from what’s going on in their lives.

What’s beyond my understanding is that God shows kindness to everyone.

God loves the world and Jesus loves people!

This is why He came and His mission is clear.

“16. For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”

John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭17‬

This is the greatest act of kindness in the history of humanity and when Jesus came, He changed everything.

Jesus is the Savior of the world and His gospel has the power to change lives!

The question is, how is the gospel changing how we live life with others?

Jesus is calling us to change the world one person at a time. We impact individuals by being kind to them, and serving them because we see them. This is how we open our hearts and dismantle the devil.

Noticed, the devil closes hearts, and Jesus opens hearts. Jesus uses us to open hearts by connecting to others by being kind and serving them.

This is simplistic and profound!

When we see and understand this, we realize that we can personally lead someone to Jesus and that churches must grow.

They must grow because people are lost and they need Jesus. When we receive Him, He changes us, heals us, and restores us to show and tell others what He did.

This is very important and we can’t forget it.

Every Christ follower is called to do the same thing regarding others, love them, and lead them to Jesus, period!

Furthermore, I believe every local church is called to do the same regarding others, love them, and lead them to Jesus.

This is our mandate and it starts by seeing those around us and taking a step toward them through kindness and acts of service.

Those around us are the ones Jesus is calling us to reach out to. This is our time to be used by God and it starts one person at a time.

Jesus is the Savior of the World. He loved us and is changing us. Now He’s reaching for others through us, so He can show that He loves them too!

What if all of us impacted one person and brought them to church?

What if all of us would lead one person to Jesus?

What would happen? Lives would change, families would change, neighborhoods would change, cities would change and nations would change!

This is NOT hyperbole, this can be a reality!

It will happen through the Gospel. So today I encourage you to be evidence of Jesus by the way you live and by what you do!

God will use you and the best is yet to come!
