Happy 2025

Happy New Year

Happy New Year!

It’s 2025 and this holiday allows us to start over, make adjustments, and reach forward.

Starting over gives us the chance to do better and improve our lives. This is a special opportunity, and when we take advantage of it, great things happen.

However, New Years is interesting to say the least.

This wide range of emotions are real and I bet most of us feel all of them every year. Have you been there?

Maybe you’re feeling them right now.

Here’s the good news, our path with God gets better and better.

“The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.”‬

Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭18

So if our path with God gets better and better, how do we move forward?

This is BIG because how we evaluate last year and make adjustments this year, determines so much in our lives.

If God’s path gets better and better, then we should think how can we get better every year. I believe small consistent improvements over time, give big opportunities in our future. The right steps are not always big steps, but when we’re going in the right direction, great things happen.

So, here’s three thoughts on moving forward this year.

1st- Be honest.

Being honest allows us to grow, make adjustments, and face ourselves. The greatest lie we can tell is the one we tell ourselves. This breeds self-deception which leads to defeat.

But when we’re honest with who we are, where we are, and what has happened, we can get better.

These three elements can lead to great advancement in our lives this year. This helps us to stop doing what is wrong or what is hurting us and do different.

We ALL need this because we all have deficiencies in our lives. We are imperfect people, welcome to the family.

Please be honest and begin to build a better year in 2025.

2nd – Be thankful.

I think it’s important that all of us are thankful for what did happen right last year. There’s something powerful about remembering the good things that have happened and then celebrating them.

Too often we forget these things and we can begin to have a negative mindset by what hasn’t happened or what we want different. But this can be limiting to our perspective as we’re focusing on the negative versus seeing the positive.

God told His people to share with the next generation all the miracles He had done to continue the tradition of a miraculous God, and to build up their faith. Notice, God wants us to remember and to share with those around us.

I encourage you to write it down and thank God every day for it because what God has done once He can do again. If He’s done one thing in your life, He can do the next thing in your life.

Please take time to remember and give God praise. He’s with you and what He’s already done is a sign of what He’s going to do.

3rd – have clear goals.

Having goals is good and needed for our growth. Furthermore, I believe we should have goals that stretch our faith and our ability. This helps us to depend on God to do His part and then gives us the focus to do our part.

The combination of both of these things I believe, set the table for God to do a miracle.

I encourage you to take time and write them out and then pray over them every day. Have a path forward that can give you practical steps in achieving those goals and seeing them come to pass.

This is not referencing fantasy, but rather it’s goals that are obtainable in our lives. It’s good to need God for things to happen. It’s also good to demand of ourselves action steps to move forward.

Both are needed when it comes to goals.

Believe big, pray big, dream big, love big, and give big. This is where we need God and where we need God is where He will show up.

It does us good to have goals that we can do in our power. But when we need God anything can happen and in the process, we get closer to Jesus!

I’m believing that in 2025 you will be planted in Jesus more than ever before. That you will

Thrive in your faith and see God move greatly.

“With God, nothing is impossible.”

Luke 1:37

May God bless you in 2025 like never before.
